- BOTOX-TM
Facial lines between the brow (the "11"s), forehead lines, and periorbital lines (crow's feet) result from muscle movement and the passage of time. Botox enables these muscles to relax, providing a refreshed, more youthful appearance. Botox is a quick and minimally invasive procedure consisting of a few tiny injections. No anesthesia is required. All treatments are personally administered by Dr. Barbara. Botox effects last 4-6 months, and tend to last longer with repeated use.

Peeling occurs consistent with deep exfoliation, yet you will experience virtually no downtime. Sun damage and hyperpigmentation related to sun damage, acne and melasma are visibly improved with a series of Vitalize peels in conjunction with recommended topical agents. The optional addition of retinoic acid enhances the peel, similar to that experienced with a mild to moderate sunburn. Peeling occurs for 2-3 days. The Blue Peel is a deeper chemical peel which employs 15% TCA. This peel extends to the papillary dermis, and is very effective at treating skin discoloration, melasma, and skin textural problems such as large pores, acne scars, and fine lines. Peeling and recovery require 7-10 days, during most of which you will be able to be out and about. Because this peel extends to a deeper dermal lever, the procedure entails some stinging of treated areas.
